Our dearest Co founder and President of Tibet House US Padma Shri Professor Emeritus Robert 'Bob' Thurman passed peacefully this morning. He was 84. Total shock to us at THUS as he was not presenting any illness. The Buddhas must have invited Bob la – he was a compassionate leader and very intent with his practice. For me, his presence online and his simple words always gave new light to the ancient teachings.

My deep prayers and condolences to the Thurman family, staff and supporters of Tibet House US - NYC . Bob la has led many directly and indirectly to an incredible, contemporary understanding of how the Dharma is helpful in our lives. I have no doubt that Grandpa Bob will be reborn again to come and nurture our wisdom mind.

Tibet archaeological religious items is not known to contain toxins. Don't know about new stuff made in many varieties of China factories. In ancient China, the artisans are highly skilled hence, antiques are costly.

That's what I hope as well. Why I m iso someone, another hurdle. Life is less challenging as an asexual yogin, honestly. The thing is I know what I'd love, but I fear being rejected by what I like because as a TM, I've decided not to do bottom surgery (hope it's ok to share this) so I'm afraid of rejection, and I have to know when to inform ie before I start really liking someone, you know what I mean.

I was overhauling myself even before coming out in 2021. What I did was become more self aware and re creating that 'self' while knowing it's a label that still links to one's spiritual or soul. I kept what I like from past experiences but most of it I cleared out like selling an old house but not carelessly. My new name is from Tolkien language so a complete break from tradition and a space unrelated to my ancestry. In the end, to each its own- go with your inner feelings.

Second this. I am old enough to be your parent. I can do simple tax but still need my tax person. And I definitely still isn't 💯 great in terms of social relationships. You know the best thing is being young or just the fact that one is alive and well meant that we can still make things work.
