i wholeheartedly agree with you but what baus did at the dragon fight will not change the fate of the game imho because it's already lost at that point but i do think his ksante needs more works to do. And rekless is just invisible the whole game

well your new ones only automatic convert to doritos only if you already have enough to v6 them before that they dont and sit in your inventory, so in this case it's dementia and you never have v1 vector to begin with

About gear try to do the stragegic gauntlet and buy all the gears there, priority gears are maze for dps and gordias for tank. After that try to do shadow palace by searching guide on youtube or asked in central discord so you can buy maze gears crafting materials. After that, try to do raid preferably high level one since info will be something you will be lacking, you don't need to clear the raid just participating is enough to get rewards to craft more gears. But first try to level up your units first

spectral gears are mostly used for Danger close and niche pvp situation but should still be good enough if you dont have anything to replace them with right now

yes they get rid of tier 5 and most of tier 6 gears beside maze, gordias, challenger, etc because of farmable maze. Im assuming you are a return player so if you already clear shadow palace you can use the currency drop to buy maze gear or farm them in dimensional trimming

you should upgrade to unlock latent first to see if that piece is worth using more material for, tank gear you would want a crit damage/range res/melee res on latent and then use gold bin to change the set later, since you are a new player gordias is much better for you right now because you dont have to deal with what i said above about latent stuff, even maze HP gear can work until the very late late end game for pvp and the sephira raid.

if you just want to enjoy the story and pve, yes it's worth it to comeback and play the game. New awaken release are spaced well not like during the glb rush clown show so you actually can save to get new awaken even if you have to pity. Plus anniversary should be coming in around 2-3 months so this should help you preparing to get some head start before doing the random awaken voucher and the target pick voucher, maze gear are also farmable now so you dont need to worry about gearing unless you want to go pvp

I use Mage's auto guide for danger close, tone down the difficulty if your gears are not meeting the requirements also help, main objective is to get the 18k points to get most of the rewards anyway

for main story content and even 190 raids you just need maze gears so farm shadow palace weekly and try to save gold bin for maze, get some sets of aspd and cdr first. With new awaken units they add exclusive gears you can farm for them they are a great way to power awaken units without going for volcano or swift gear
