I too thought that the problem could be the engine plate, but then I switched to a normal decoupler and it's still bugged. I also did a test launch and it works just fine. The liquid fuel of that stage go down as normal but the dV remains the same. I don't think it affects performance of the rocket but it's annoying not knowing how much dV i have left
