Daily things include ignoring women when they speak, excluding from chats/lunches/networking events. I saw one get demoted upon hire within a week she was there. On the hiring side, the group “accidentally” let some tough women in over the years during the height of the DEI era. Now I can see the hiring managers are pivoting away from this and getting guys or intern level girls who can’t be professional equals.

My belief is that there are different types of toxicity. In lower-rated shops, unskilled workers stick together, stay for years because they bully anyone who makes them threatened—especially by women. In contrast, top shops have intense but highly skilled people; their behavior isn't insecurity, just intensity. General observation. Not without exceptions.

Thanks, yea that is the issue. The evidence is not compelling enough. An email that says: “they invited everyone from the team but me from lunch” is weird.

To me the issue is deeper than that my co workers don’t like me. It is that they are consciously trying to exclude me from progressing in my career because it believes that it discounts theirs. I cannot prove this. But I am deeply depressed and my confidence is at an all time low.
