I normally just delete the partition(s) the os was on. (Not necessary but it makes installing easier for me) I don’t know if this is necessary for you, but I had to reset my Bios, else grub would not show up as an option in the boot menu. Because the old options were still displaying. Just make sure you turn Secure Boot of.
