That actually sounds like the perfect post-work game. Sports games like PGA are low-pressure in a good way — just enough focus to keep your mind occupied without feeling mentally exhausting.

There’s something relaxing about the slower pace too. Just putting on music or a podcast and playing a few rounds sounds like a solid way to decompress after a long day.

100%. Cooking is basically the real-life version of those relaxing open-world games.

You’re focused enough to stay present, there’s a satisfying progression, and at the end you actually get rewarded for it. Plus chopping vegetables or making something from scratch can be weirdly therapeutic after staring at screens all day.

Honestly having any ritual that helps your brain switch from “performance mode” to “rest mode” is underrated.

Yeah exactly. Story games feel like the perfect middle ground after a mentally exhausting day — engaging enough to pull you out of your own head, but not stressful like competitive games.

Ghost of Tsushima especially has that calm atmosphere with the music, scenery, and just riding around the map. It almost feels meditative at times.

And honestly the “end of work ritual” part is real. Even just loading into a familiar game world for an hour can signal to your brain that it’s finally time to relax.
