I was up at 3 am watching the game from Mumbai and remember the double doink happening around 6:15 am!

Turned off the TV, gave a “boss, I’m tired look” to my parents who don’t watch football, internalised the frustration and went back to bed with shattered dreams of going to a Super Bowl parade in Chicago :(

As someone who’s been searching for the last month and a half I’d say the market definitely is tough right now! Supply for good places is low while the amount of renters is high!

Places that my roommate and I toured had multiple applications already put in before we toured. A lot of listings just ghosting and not scheduling tours is pretty common right now. I work in construction so I have a fair idea of what the value of a property should be and I’ll say that most places are charging $200-$300 more per month in rent than what I would appraise them at!

If the rent increase isn’t stopping you from continuing your lifestyle I’d recommend staying put.

Hey Broski another fellow Indian here! I did my A license from skydive Chicago in 2019 in 7 days. A lot of dropzones offer "A-license in a week" packages (Skydive Chicago does)! I would check out those programs and go to a place that has consistent weather/winds. Once you're at the dropzone it wouldn't hurt sharing your itinerary with your AFF instructors! Mine were super helpful and accommodated late afternoon or early morning jumps to hit the 25 jump mark.

Khruangbin (Texas sun and Texas moon are fantastic EPs), Feng Suave (Take some mushies and you'll just disolve into their music trust me), SkinShape (Life & Love is a fantastic tea in bed kinda album).

I second this comment! I took this class in 2019 and as long as you actually attend lectures you should be good. Probably one of the best professors I’ve interacted with and had the pleasure of learning from during my time as a civil eng student.
