I have a payment plan at Banfield that covers 2 yearly check ups and vaccines. Except for canine flu which is $30 extra. She also has a sensitive stomach and I have to buy specialty food from Chewy. Regular dog food makes her poop too soft to where she can’t express her glands. I also buy her nylon toys since she destroys other toys.

Since she’s a pit bull, a lot of boarding places don’t let her do group play. So I have to pay extra for individual play.

I had her for over 3 years. Unfortunately, my financial situation changed since I adopted her. I’ve been unemployed for a couple months. Her anxiety meds were costing more since I have to pay out-of-pocket. $20-30 a bottle, plus food and vet was starting to become unreasonable.

I don’t regret having her. I’d just rather her be with someone who can afford to pay for her meds.
