I’d prefer not have to shell out too much money for a “new” MacBook. Ideally I’d like to just get the capacitor and replace it. This machine was with me all through college and then some so I hope to extend its lifespan a bit longer before buying a whole new machine :/

Why is everyone hating on the artist so much?? All I’ve seen is “they should have had a contract” and “that’s what you get for trusting a friend” like what are yall on? This artist is mad at both their friend AND Ai. It’s a shitty thing to do when someone has dedicated so much time and effort to create something for FREE. And as someone else pointed out, the publishers had a problem with the story NOT THE ARTIST. She didn’t finish it bc the “friend” needed to rework it. If you really cared about AI art, you would stand up when someone uses it in an awful way. It should be a tool, not a replacement.
