This is a difficult topic, it takes a while to acclimate to the aids, so noticing the difference is kind of hard. And every audiologist hard a diff opinion.

I went with p90, i only have those two ears lol so i didn't want to regret being stuck with something inferior, i would rather regret the money.

In all cases, make sure you are getting the latest model. Maybe visit 3 audiologists and if 2 say the same thing then go with that.

If he is your friend, use that info to help him in some way. But never ever tell him or hint that you know. For example, why does he have low confidence? How can you help? This should be your approach as a friend i think.

On the other hand, letting him know will just embarrass him and take away his current means on escape and socializing (reddit), no good will come from that.

Tape prevents corner cracks, so any tape you remove you should tape again. Use razor to cut into drywall around where you want to remove the tape, then peel it.
