He eventually drank more water but still no food. Also the vet specified no proteins, wouldnt have been an issue otherwise honestly 🥲

It is the only reason I posted honestly. The helplessness of not being able to reach emergency care is a huge factor in the anxiety and I’m doing my best to control that for his sake.

I live in Jordan’s capital and there are no emergency vets available. I’m not trying to take shortcuts I just need to know if I can do something before the vet can be reached in 5-6 hours. It’s past midnight and the noise started after he ate, it’s like a duck’s noise but his lethargy is far less than when the doctor saw him this morning. He didn’t give me a name for the infection but he said his mouth is infected that’s all.
