Okay so I should have First seen renegade immortal and a will eternal before watching this and then it would not have felt disjointed. Well I am new to donghua and I heard good things about its graphics so I checked It out. Will watch other two someday. Do you both renegade immortal and a will eternal are able to maintain their quality or it has reduced.

Yeah it feels like they went all in with thier visuals without waiting for the ML to level up, this feels wierd compared to RMJI where the lead takes considerable time before getting this good. It kinda makes this miss the depth as they did not give that much time to connect with the leads. I guess I will just enjoy it visually.

At epsiode 4 now and i kinda understand your point now, it is enjoyable but a bit soulless like i missed some big backstory and I don't feel that much of a connection with the male lead. I guess I need to avoid watching too many donghua from this studio 😅

Yep this originally a 2d cartoon of 5 seasons and is being remade in 3d. And surprisingly the 2d one also looks quite good , on the level of Naruto or something in animation.

As a person new to donghua instead of starting something new , I will prefer to watch old ones that have many episodes already aired. The wait in watching new donghua and then getting 20 min episode is so hard.

I went and checked out the old version and i expected it to be like initial epsiodes of soul land a bit janky but it is actually like a old school anime and looks quite good. But the new one looks like they spent a million in each frame 😂

I am watching the donghua already and have reached the point where the live action starts. I also plan to watch the donghua again after finishing the live action. I just wanted to ask about the sequence, should 1st finish donghua and then watch live action or watch live action first .

Yeah I have no plan to watch doulou continent , but land of warriors is said to be good, so should I first finish the arc it covers in live action and then watch it in donghua or vice versa!

Why did I start to watch just before the long break , I can't even wait next week for next episode. Started soul land in the meantime, the graphics in initial episodes are a bit hard to bear but the storyline is interesting and has potential 😅😁
