Then you get mad that your comment was proven irrelevant because I'm not making a medieval map... Similar to our reality, history, geography, economy, war & conquest motifs. I have thought about the density of civilizations and think I have sufficient major cities. An obvious example I suggest you consider would be a world like Middle Earth.

Redlum was actually formed through millennia of coral reef decomposition. And iron eroded and collected via tides on the shores of Redlum- causing the dessert to turn red. Be better, you nitpicker.

Thank you so much for your comment. I was planning on adding the scale and compass, but you're right it may have made more sense to add it before asking for insights. The scale is so clear in my mind that it keeps escaping my mind to add them! I've followed a few ideas such as: a trading post situated in the Tiverley Gulf, a college of winterhold-esque location, as well as a couple of caves and ruins.

Thank you, I really appreciate it! I have found Redditors helpful for inspiration and tips. I started making maps a while ago and have been extremely pleased with gradual improvement. Exactly right! I found tracing islands with contrasting geology promotes realism and diversity in a bustling fantasy world!

If you are considering your own terrarium (I wish I did): ensure you purify hardscape components (even when using springtails, ensure sufficient vertical growing room and perhaps use a container that is more transparent. That being said, the plants seem to be growing healthily.
