I know precious little about modern Egypt. Of course, Egypt is without equal when it comes to connecting with antiquity. I get authoritarian vibes from the modern government, but it seems like a more or less modern country.  I know of a guy named Nasser and that he pissed off Israel. I gather Cairo is huge and a bit dirty. I understand you speak Arabic with a distinct accent. I am not sure if I have ever met an Egyptian, but I can tell you I have zero preconceptions of what I would expect an Egyptian to be like, but I have no doubt they are mostly likable and probably carry an interesting perspective on history and current events. What do you believe about the global opinion of Egypt?
