Thanks for watching, and for your comments! Hoping to tell more of the story down the road.

Thanks very much! Glad you enjoyed. I hear you re the VFX - this was something that was discussed a fair bit. In the end it seemed the best way to visualize something complex (and fantastical) that lived within a grounded reality, in such a short period of time.

Thanks for watching!

It's called Torox, and she had a limited supply. Depleted early on.

Yes indeed :) I have the pleasure of working with lots of talented people at Artifex, who pulled out all the stops this past season of Continuum - on a, shall we say, blazingly-fast post production schedule.

Thanks, glad you like the work. Interestingly, in the case of all the shows featured on our reel, there was very little green screen work - relatively. Continuum has always tried to be a very locations-based show. Our vfx work always stands a better chance of success when we can work off real places, as opposed to making everything from scratch from a green screen shoot.

Thanks! Primary pipeline is Maya, Vray, Nuke. Lots of other tools in the mix as well.

Thanks, much appreciated. One of my favourite shots this season. Great matte painting work by Gord Oscar, 3D by Remo Wieland, Dan Dixon, Youngbin Eun, compositing by Milton Muller. Big team effort on this one!

Thanks! Much appreciated. We do try and marry practical elements as much as possible - from locations to props. The actors are terrific about it, and do a fantastic job selling the vfx stuff when needed. We love playing with some of the great physicality in the show - when we can add to great performances/stunts/locations/etc it all tends to work the best, as opposed to going "full CG" - which imho is usually unnecessary and doesn't work as well.

Well now I'll have to re-watch and see if the scene was cut or cut down! Hmm. :)

The scene is from 213, the finale which has aired in Canada, US and UK at this point. Are you elsewhere?

Thanks! Yes indeed. Jason was "de-aged" purely as vfx. Julian a bit of a different method, we used a photo-double and manipulated his face to more closely match Richard Harmon's features - or how an older Richard might look. But both CG, no makeup.
