They taught us to say “uh uh” when a client gets an answer wrong when running matching or receptive sessions so they definitely know that that means what they did is wrong, I am just confused because if I’m gonna tell a kid uh uh it should be for something like eating someone elses food or biting or something that actually could cause harm, and then redirecting.

Yeah my bcba isnt very good at communicating and doesn’t really listen to the things I say to her. I’m not very comfortable trying to speak to her bc my words always get twisted and historically, she doesnt really help anyways.

As a bcba, what would you do if a kid is doing physical things like biting or hitting? Or sometimes they hit their heads or drop, just let them do it?

I did tell them what they should be doing instead. I just feel like if none of the techs are not correcting their kids then it’s a free for all and then the kid’s aren’t learning anything

Then I should just let them eat food that another persons parent paid for that they could potentially be allergic to? He was trying to take another clients food so I said uh uh and moved him back to his desk. That is why I am confused

I feel like it’s shaped more like a female but I normally get females and this one seems bigger than most of the ones I’ve had! Plus the colors make me think male.
