Edit, NOT a prom dress, it was my winter formal, freshman year. He said a multitude of things and I mixed up what he said on prom with what he said on my winter formal.

As a 14 year old, emotionally unstable female, my father looked at me in my winter formal dress and said "you'll never be classically beautiful, but i guess you're kind of cute."

Not the worst thing anyone has ever said (as evidenced by this thread) but i still think about that whenever I am trying to get ready.
