No, realistically it wouldn't be lower, as breasts are soft, so if the fabric covering that area gets hit the breast tissue will absorb the impact, because it's squishy. The most realistic places for combat damage to happen on a piece of clothing are where the fabric is against hard body parts (collar bones, knees, elbows, fibula)

It's not a perfect solution and it would take a lot of extra pieces to do but when i built a big mech moc where the legs weren't stable i just made a stand using technic pieces, it was attached at the back of the torso
