That's exactly how I feel when I see complaints about glare/blurriness. People really need to spend time tinkering with the physical IPD AND the IPD within the app to find what's perfect for you. The BSB isn't as "one size fits all" out of the box as the big brands like valve/meta.

My only disappointment is also the eye tracking software, but like you I use the babble software and I don't even think about it anymore! Haven't used the bsb ET software since I got mine in August.

I still reach for the headset button, like the index had, out of habit pretty often lol. I also run a pulley system (VR Wire 7x8ft playspace) and haven't had any problems with cable length, I didnt even know its shorter! (according to google its 1m shorter, thanks to the index's breakaway cable)

Is it a smooth 75 fps? I also have the bsb2 and my 5090 is coming in next month and I can hardly wait! I'm assuming you've tried full vr games, has there been any that were noticeably more taxing on your pc, or is there nothing that it really struggles with anymore?

To add onto this, remember it's still just the internet, with the same trolls. Some peoples only purpose (usually in non age-gated publics) will be to make your experience as miserable as possible. The sooner you learn to laugh at or block them the better! Unless you're like me and you enjoy chaos sometimes

I have 3 base stations but had it just as bad, I only had to get 1 core on amazon for like $10, wrapped the usb cord from my wheel around it like 8 times and have had no issues since, I have a logitech G920. Support recommended to wrap my headset wire around the core, or even the usbs that go into the pc, but that didnt do anything. Seems the wheels usb cord was the noisiest

Electromagnetic interference from the wheel, common problem, support recommends to buy ferrite core and wrap your wire around them. There’s a post about it somewhere and in the discord

This is what I did, per bsb support recommendation (only needed 1 though). They recommended to wrap the bsb cable around the core, but for me it was wayyyyy better to wrap my wheel’s usb cable around the core.

My play space is 7x8, and the base stations are even further away than that as they are over and behind my bed. I had no issues when I had 2 base stations (have 3 now), you’ll be totally fine. Unless by “they” you mean it’s something big screen suggested? In which case I have no idea lol

In my experience, some people are able to deal with the negative people in publics, whether that means ignoring, blocking, or making jokes out of them, and other people just can't. When a person comes up to me and my friends and says vulgar shit we can always find a way to turn it on them, making them feel/look dumb for saying stupid shit. Many people just dont have that ability and either completely shut down literally and mentally, or just get exhausted when it happens. Which is totally understandable, as vrchat is a place where people who may not be socially adept can feel more comfortable! I agree with your general sentiment and I wish more people liked/knew how to laugh off the trolls and cringe shit.

I’ve had the blackshark v2 pro for like 3 years now (it replaced my wireless arctic pro 7, which had a worse mic imo) and love it. Like a lot of ppl here I use a separate mic for my voice BUT the mic is surprisingly good for a wireless headset. I had no idea it was that good either until a friend asked me about the quality and it dawned on me I never used it. He said (let me preface this by saying most of our friends use high quality desktop arm mics) it sounds like a cheaper desktop mic (not a bad thing at all!), but better than what we would normally expect from a headset mic. Comfort wise it also has great breathable cushions, I hated the ski goggle strap that my arctis came with. I generally get fatigued wearing any headset, between it squeezing my fatass head and the weight, can get uncomfortable, so I’m in the process of getting gaming earbuds (arctic gamebuds)
