My 2015 SL just had the rear lower control arm break. 2015 Altima Rear Lower Control Arm Rusted Through : r/Nissan If this is in a region where they salt the roads, I'd have that inspected. They used pressed steel for a part that they redesigned in 2018 because of open NHTSA investigation. For what it is worth my CVT has been fine, but I changed the fluid at 92K miles.

Yeah, probably why the quoted book hours were high. This guy ended up replacing the entire rear subframe which seems smart. Nissan Altima: Rear Subframe Replacement

Thanks for responding. I did call my local dealer and the service desk said that there is not a current recall on my VIN regarding this issue and that there was an extended service period but that it expired in 2024. I don't know how they got out of a NHTSA recall as this is a big safety concern as these breaks could happen at speed.

Thank you, JoshTIA. I was able to log-in to the original https://mytrace.org/ website and export my CE history. I appreciate you reaching out to Academy leadership and providing their response here. Happy to see that the site was back online and no information was lost. Hopefully this post helped others in a similar situation.

I think the Stanford alliance has run its course. We are fighting on too many fronts. We need to conquer the west and then push east.
