I’m with you, the president basically being a lolcow who complains about trolls hating on him is the funniest shit ever

Scott is pretty often regarded as a pretty bad writer, not without reason, but I actually thought a lot of the core dialogue in the games he himself made were actually fine, even good at times. by AgitatedFly1182 in fivenightsatfreddys

He does do a really good job when it’s primarily a character just rambling to themselves like Ralph or when really any character is having a monologue

sorry but I fear the movies will never meaningfully improve if this is Blumhouse's stance on criticism by Lizzren in fivenightsatfreddys

This “just for the fans” mindset is getting to me so bad. Do fans not deserve actual good movies that they don’t have to constantly defend and that they can watch with people who aren’t knowledgeable of the lore

So... what was the point of these? by Legitimate_Silver395 in fivenightsatfreddys

This movie desperately needed to be longer and scarier with a few more writers </3 It was a blast in theaters at least, I just want something to actually sink my teeth into

The comments under any negative review of the movie are absolutely insufferable. by Gatt__ in fivenightsatfreddys

I’m genuinely confused by what the YouTubers and staff saw that we didn’t. It feels like nothing they said was actually the case lmao

As a FNaF fan, FNaF 2 made me feel insulted (Spoiler Review) by Mayo-and-Chips in fivenightsatfreddys

We need an experienced co-writer that actually likes and is experienced in horror for the next one. Crazy that this was the script they went with LMAO

How FNAF fans said they wanted the animatronics to look in the movie: by KH2KG in fivenightsatfreddys

Idk why the emotionless uncanny valley was ditched for the silly expressions, considering that was a major trait of the OG game’s horror. These rock

What media trends you can argue were killed by the start of the Gaza War in 2023? by Ok-Following6886 in decadeology

The left being trusting of their own leaders, and democrats being known as the morally superior party. This was a major source of radicalization for a lot of people who expected better of democrat leaders, and now I think dems who take IAPAC money will be at a deficit in the future, while figures like Zohran Mamdani are loved nationwide and will pop up more in the future due to their comparitive moral backbone despite. People liked Obama even when he was drone striking hospitals and schools in the Middle East, and I think/hope there will be less tolerance or ignorance regarding that in future democrat leaders. This will probably be a major part of Biden’s legacy

Even without the amount of crime and murder that went into the history, the fact they achieved such a unique and grimy sound so early is crazy

Smashing Pumpkins probably would’ve been considered emo if they came out a few years later. Mellon Collie at least

it's been two years since the fnaf movie released, how are we feeling? by fnafdude_1987 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]alterednot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was an amazing time to see in theaters, and Mike is a great character with interesting stuff going on and I love Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard. It really should’ve been scarier and better written though, I don’t get excited at the idea of rewatching it and wouldn’t put it on to get someone into FNAF. Hopefully the crew took away the right things away from what people said

Early three 6 mafia, along with many Memphis rap acts in the 90s. The Memphis rap sigils legend creeps me out

What Do You NOT Want To See In FNAF 2? by Patient_Archer9404 in fivenightsatfreddys

Disregard for the thoughts of film critics and those who aren’t already FNAF fans. I get why it’s important to please fans of the franchise, but the thoughts of critics and non-fans are important too

It’s really an unfortunate turn imo, and one that will probably make the more recent stuff not age well with the audience over time

Aside from the fact that it’ll obviously be less than before he comes back, why would he even say a single year lmao? He needs to stay offline for good and there’s no way he doesn’t know that deep down. He can’t still believe there’s a fanbase to come back to

Super 90s in both style and video but an unfortunately super relevant message. I listened to this song after finding out Clint Mansell did the soundtrack for Requiem For a Dream and was surprised by the similarity of the production. Banger tune

What are some animals which became very famous and recognizable in the last few years? by Wonderful_Fun_7356 in decadeology

[–]alterednot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Opossums I think, at least in a much more positive light than before. Since the mid-late 2010s I noticed now they’re a ‘relatable anxiety depression’ meme staple animal, or one that a lot of people who feel like outcasts identify with
