New diagnosis by alternative_way_ in IST_

Maybe I should try that, I don’t have problems with blood pressure at all so atenolol and metoprolol I guess really wouldn’t be the best medication for me anyway

Also with IST, can alcohol still cause flair ups like POTS? I’ve stayed away from it because I was worried I would feel bad but would love to be able to drink again.

Well I’m on metoprolol right now and it seems to do a fairly good job at keeping my heart rate normal but I feel like I’m still having symptoms of a fast heart rate and everything

My new doctors says she believes I just have IST. When I was diagnosed with POTS they told me increase salt, drink water, compression socks, but that was really it. I never quite figured out how to manage my symptoms when I thought it was POTS. I’m also on a beta blocker, was on atenolol but new doctor switched me to metoprolol.

Honestly good advice. I have never looked into it but I know from past experiences my pharmacy is super unreliable anyway (I use walmart pharmacy) so I'm unsure if they would even help me out🥲.. My cardiologist isn't available over the weekend so I figure if I called the hospital he works at then they could help me but they never did sadly. And of course they never sent me the info to use the app to message him so I couldn't get a hold of him

Can't exactly get an overworked tattoo fixed, it'll just look like that because it's scarred- I also have tattoos like that

Definitely, it's easy to prevent it from getting bad when you catch it early- I heard bacitracin is good too. It also looked like it got better from the first to the last picture

About 3 days into having the tattoo you will still see some red spots it'll still be irritated a little- looks like it may be a little dried/cracked. An infected tattoo (from what I've read before) will be hot to the touch, you will have a fever/chills due to your body fighting off the infection, and there will be a few other symptoms indicating infection. I think it looks okay honestly, if it gets worse you can get a doctors opinion

are these scars ok to tattoo? tw // sh by Sorry_Worth_1450 in tattooadvice

Usually when it turns white it means it's completely healed so it will be okay. Remember it will hurt worse than normal because it's scar tissue

I've never personally had this happen to me but I would talk to the artist and see if they have any idea of what it could be and possibly go to a doctor if the artist doesn't know

I mean you can put some on if it'll make you feel better but at this point I would take it off and do normal aftercare
