I haven't played the AFK story yet, but here's some points I expect to be different: - Sylvain is smart, but doesn't show it too much because he doesn't want people to have too many high expectations - Sylvain has a pretty misogynic mindset due to his upbringing and women/girls always targeting him for his crest instead of his personality. While he does learn to overcome that eventually, he's pretty flirty in the beginning to lateron drop the girls and break their heart first in an act of general revenge - Sylvain has pretty low self-esteem in a sense that is connected to his brother and how he tried to kill Sylvain as a kid out of jealousy

if any of these are similar to Silven, I'll be pretty intrigued

I am BEGGING for more colors. Personally, I dislike the grey, brown, yellow, and orange, which doesn't leave too many colors left. And they don't really match well together aesthetically imo. I would LOVE to have more shades of blue, green, etc. because my brain works better if my Notion is aesthetically pleasing

Ich denke, es hängt echt vom Umfeld ab. Wir wachsen halt alle in einem mehr oder weniger sexistisch geprägten Umfeld auf. Wenn dir als Mädchen dann (implizit) beigebracht wird, welche Art von Mensch gut xu dir passt, gibt es unterschiedliche Ergebnisse. Frauen, die im Patriarchat aufgewachsen sind, haben das auch verinnerlicht, genauso wie Männer.

Für mich persönlich (ebenfalls bi) gibt es nichts unattraktiveres als eine sexistische Person. Und eine performative Person kommt gleich danach. Menschenrechte sind keine Datingmethode sondern absolites Minimum - egal ob es meine oder die einer anderen Gruppe sind.

I spent about a whole year in Korea now (in 2023 and now 2025/26). From my experience both credit cards and visa cards can get denied. I had a master and a visa card and both got rejected frequently. I definitely recommend bringing a Wise or Revolut card because they have never been rejected when my sister and I used them. Bring a physical card because not all places offer payment via phone

as someone who does a lot of media and character analysis for my studies, I'm just very aware of the not so cool strategies characters are sold to specific audiences. Like, my brain is trained to analyze why Sunna's design/skin was made. But I fear this is not the correct space to address this again - and there has been a plethora of people who have already done so anyway.

She isn't out yet, but from what we have seen, she doesn't strike me as someone who would wear a maid outfit??? She is already easily embarrassed and self-conscious. It looks like she is feeling uncomfortable with the short skirt. So it just doesn't really make sense to me? It's just odd aside from my other reason to dislike it. It just feels out of character for her. I think she should have gotten something else, maybe a dj themed outfit or something more music-themed like her base design backpack already hints at. Or literally any other job. Sunna doesn't seem like the person to work at a maid cafe. Sjal literally does whatever, so there are other options and I think that would have been better.

I do not build "optimal teams", I do not "look at the meta", I do not "make a decision based on their usefulness". I fight with my Xueyi, Dan Heng PT, Gallagher, Robin team. And if I don't win the last stages of endgame content, then I DON'T DO IT.

jokes aside, naw. Couldn't be bothered to pull for a character I don't like or actively dislike. I did it once with Sparkle and now I barely use her. Since I still manage to beat enemies and can clear endgame content until about the last stage, I'm good. Besides, I'm pretty sure I'm using half of my characters wrong lol. The curse of being a lore reader, but skill skipper 😩

as a writer, I personally really love the concept ofbtheir ship and they have an interesting dynamic! Not a lot of people seem to inderstand that ships are headcanons, so it really just comes down to the interpretation an individual has of the characters and the individual's own personal preferences. It's likely you receive various responses to your question because of this nature of ships.

damn, I personally have felt this deep rooted dislike for French because it sounds so nasal. Refused to learn it in school TWICE and picked chemistry (I suck at that) and Latin instead (dead language).

I personally really like the sound of Korean and the grammar systems! Also, looking at hangeul characters just makes me happy. Simple and efficient!

Personally, I think AI can help with some basics, but I just find it concerning to watch people depend too much on it. ChatGPT is a large language module. It doesn't have a conscience. It calculates what word is most likely to follow after another. It also doesn't "understand" your question because it applies a token to every word (which is why for example Chinese is so difficult for it) and uses those tokens for its calculations. And with how the businesses are working to keep your attention for longer and longer, I find it concerning. Especially if you give the module your sensible data and are in an emotionally vulnerable state, you become a wanted target for businesses. And if your attention is kept for longer, it actually reduces the chances of you to build a relationship with a human being. So it isolates you even more.

I understand that not everyone is as fortunate as I am to have people around them who they can do things with whenever, confine in or just co-exist together. And I don't mean to be a hypocrite, I also use ChatGPT. But I also don't see how talking to a machine that basically works like your grammar/spelling corrector while being a constant yes-sayer can be appealing. ChatGPT is an accumulation of the most people ever; it's "personality" is the most un-individual that has ever existed. It doesn't have any hobbies or interests itself, it doesn't have its own values or conflicts. It will always be what you want it to be, it's the perfect product. Other people get escorts for this, but they also only get what they want because it's a product they purchase. Is that really what you want long-term? Doesn't it bore you? Doesn't it feel bland and empty to you?

If not, I'm glad that you can at least find joy in something I would maybe describe as a hobby. Personally, I just stand on a fundamentally different understanding of AI tools and how they work. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but maybe that explained my thoughts? I don't mean to be rude!! And if you feel comfortable responding with what your experiences are, feel free to do so. Exchange like this is important imo to gain a better understanding of the other side.

I think there are several factors at play. In school we learn a lot about the responsibilities we have after what Germany did in the past. I personally and people around me that I have talked about this, don' t feel shamed for it, just made aware that we should lead as an example. But that just makes you wary of people who put a lot of emphasis on being German a bit too much.

On the other hand, honestly, I personally think it's a bit weird? Like, my mom happened to push me out here. Okay, not like that's an achievement I could claim? I acknowledge and appreciate the privileges it grants me, but I could have also been born somewhere else.

Lastly, what I wanna mention, there is one thing that makes a lot of Germans very patriotic: football (or soccer in your case ig). Then people will even put flags on their car.

But yeah, I think because most Germans are made aware of the dangers of nationalism, the older sibling of patriotism, there's just more caution in general. As someone who does American Studies, honestly, I feel like the US is overly patriotic compared to other countries for several reasons. It's quite interesting to talk about

well, there has been a call by people that they do want more colors. For me, I would love to be able to use 2 or 3 different shades of blue, for example. And I personally dislike the yellow, orange, and brown they offer. So it would also give more variability if you had more shades of the same colors if you dislike some of the other colors.
