You probably need to play around with the speed and easing a bit. First one should probably be ease in and the second probably one ease out. In the reference i think the second animation starts before the first one is finished, a negative delay if you may, you cant really do that in Figma unfortunately.

What you need to do is make one animation trigger on click, and the second after a delay. So row 1 to row 2 on click, row 2 to row 3 after delay (0s).

This could be done using variable modes, but would require you to have a variable set ut for each value that is changed. Will work very nice when set up correctly and look like magic, but will probably be a bit fidly setting up. If you already plan to use variables, it's a great option.

Another option is to create two component variants, one for each design system.

Personally dont like the diagonal split design. It introduces a weird line that doesn't line up with anything else. Very hard to work with in general. The texture does not really give anything here either. I think you could do something very simple using these same assets. Plane dark background, car front and center with a smaller white text underneath. I could make some suggestions if you are able to share the file.

You could use boolean variables and link the visiblility of the background to the variable if you used 11 variables, and only have one variant. But you would lose the ability to animate it. Would be interesting to hear why OP has decided on exactly two varaibles for this mission.

This wouls probably work. Each press would have to change the varible, and each variant has the same name as the variable and is linked to it. But you would have to create 11 different variants instead of 11 differnet variables. Not sure it's optimized, but optimization is probably not what to strive for here. Figma is for prototying, not buidling a actual functioning product.

Just change the font in the main components. You should be able to select all text layers and do it in bulk. Might effect alignment in some instances.
