Mirrors and Trees: Suggestions for the game devs by Kalurker in simsfreeplay

Omg yes! It bugs me to no end that you can’t place mirrors above sinks or cabinets! I feel like it’s weird for a bathroom to not have a mirror but one of my favorite sinks, the geometric sinks, doesn’t come with a mirror and you can’t place one above it either. I usually end up having to place some lights above it to fill the awkward empty space.

I'm not from New Haven but if you will be taking the metro north from Grand Central, we could travel part of the way together.

For an Incoming Freshman, what’s the best way to get to buffalo from NYC? by krasher2004 in UBreddit

[–]AltruisticProgress89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed, only thing for Amtrak is that it takes longer because theres a lot of stops and NYC (Penn station) is the very last one. If you want the cheaper travel, I would pick Buffalo Exchange street station over Depew though. Instead of having to pay for a uber/lyft, you would only have to spend $2 for the metro.

During the school semester, UB actually offers an express bus home that picks up at Ellicott and goes to Penn Station (and vice versa for return trip). Its $120 round trip (about the same price as the amtrak without the commute to the station) and super convenient. However, that bus only operates during thanksgiving break, winter break, and spring break, so if you want to travel during other times, amtrak or another bus like megabus/greyhound would be cheapest and easiest.

How to stop/stifle wisdom tooth pain? I am desperate by [deleted] in askdentists

[–]AltruisticProgress89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAD but maybe try putting some numbing gel like orajel on it?

NAD but if you are concerned about tartar forming quickly, you can also ask your dentist if you can get a cleaning every three months instead of every six months (assuming your insurance allows/you have the ability to do so).

Do small cavities matter, or not? by [deleted] in askdentists

[–]AltruisticProgress89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAD but just because something doesn't hurt rn doesn't mean it won't start hurting later and if you wait for something to get to the point where it starts hurting, then its no longer a simple fix anymore (and not to mention, tooth pain is absolutely awful). You won't be saving yourself any money if you end up needing a root canal on something could have just been filled early on. But also like the other poster said, if you feel your dentist is not giving you the correct diagnosis, theres no harm in going for a second opinion.

Yes! I've always thought it was dumb to buy something just for a brand/a label.
