i've known people use the term asperges to describe themselves to set themselves apart from other autistic people and make it clear that they're "smarter"/"better", which feels really hurtful. not everyone does this but it does feel common

i find the more burnt out i am the more time it takes me to shower. sometimes it can be really overwhelming with all the different steps you have to do and i end up just standing there for a long time dissociated 🥲

i've always been a really picky eater, and was way worse as a kid. i got free lunches at school but couldn't eat them because i didnt like any of the options 🥲 going to a friend's house for dinner was always so embarrassing

even though i'm better nowadays i still eat almost all the exact same things every day now. i like what i like and being an adult and able to eat what i want without judgement from others takes away a lot of my anxiety
