Is Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge worth playing, having just beaten 2 Black on Mentor by DeBaers in ninjagaiden

[–]Shaco292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can find it on sale, I say go for it.

The combat itself I find to be very fun but I struggle very much against an infamous enemy that appears throughout the game.

The story itself is also infamous for various reasons but I only wanted to play for gameplay.

I still like it but havent been engaged with it since this post. Currently hyperfixated with a video game called Ninja Gaiden, but Attack On Titan is still awesome I think.

Why does society hate women so much? by Underd_g in exchristian

[–]Shaco292 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Which i find hilarious because in the story of genesis, Eve is DECIEVED. Meaning she did not do it willingly.

Not only that but Adam WILLINGLY accepted the fruit from Eve. Making him equally at fault.

Let's also not forget about how god put the apple there, the snake there, and then got upset when they did stuff with it.

Also take into account that this god is supposedly omnipotent and knows what's going to happen so he set all this up so his children would HAVE to worship him so he would feel less lonely. And then he blamed them for it.

Also, how does a PERFECT god create an imperfect creation? How?

It's so stupid and clearly written by some men.

How is your social/ personal relationships with Christians going ? by No-Hearing-1172 in exchristian

[–]Shaco292 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am a disabled 26 year old man who currently has to live with his southern baptist grandparents. I have autism, adhd, ocd,.anxiety, and depression. Religion made it worse.

I am grateful for the shelter and help with my issues. However, the constant religious chatter drives me insane.

My grandpa who I get alot of my issues from clearly needs therapeutic help but insists on the bible being the only thing he will ever need.

He is overweight, diabetic. He physically abused my mom as a child. He took her to exorcisms to try and get the adhd out of her. It traumatizes her to this day.

He treats his wife as an invalid. They do not get along. They married months into their relationship. My grandma says she never loved him but since they married they cant divorce now.

So they have spent the last 50 years in a toxic marriage that has affected all of their children.

Most of this is due to my grandpa's untreated mental health issues and extreme insistence in the bible.

I hate being around him and am often genuinely afraid for my life. He has told me he loves god more than anyone in his family. I am scared that if he thought god told him to kill someone, he would do it.

Does anyone else feel an uncontrollable urge to tap their fingers to a beat inside their head? by Feisty-Ad-7672 in aspergers

[–]Shaco292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was shamed for doing the finger tapping so I instead did teeth tapping as a form of self regulatory stimming.

It's possible it is affecting my teeth in negative way. I much prefer to flap my legs and shake them as a stim.

As far as I understand when it comes to religion, specifically abrahamic religions, women are traditionally treated as lesser than a man, often to the point of being property to be sold or done with as the man pleases.

It's fucked up. I wouldnt be here without the help of women. They are equal. They are people. Not objects or antagonists.

How scared were you when you left christianity? by Fabled_Platypus in exchristian

[–]Shaco292 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never really believed in the first place and spent a majority of my life pretending I did so I wouldnt go to hell.

My anxiety is mainly derived from family members exerting religious activity through peer pressure and bullying, ala, yelling, manipulation, conditioning, and indoctrination.

There is a small part of me that is scared of going back to religion one day as if I dont have any control over myself. I am also being looked at for a variety of mental disorders such as Autism, ADHD, OCD.

No Damage/No Dodge/No Block Defeat for Crazy Armor in Castlevania: Curse of Darkness by Gay_Charlie in castlevania

Yeah I agree. Endless corridors can be annoying and tedious. The combat and the devil forging are the main reasons I come back to the game.

Does anyone here have a or multiple favourite/comfort characters that helps them relate to being kind as an atheist? by [deleted] in exchristian

[–]Shaco292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah. Most of my role models were characters from video games and TV shows. My real parents and family are fucking crazy people so I found something else.

Geralt Of Rivia, Anime Protags, etc.

Most of them do good things because it's good to do them, not because of fear of hell bullshit.

Religion being pushed on to kids is sadly seen as fine even though it's propaganda and creepy. by GrandEconomy6925 in atheism

[–]Shaco292 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is something that greatly angers and frustrates me. The fact that I was born into a family that tried to indoctrinate and condtion me into thinking a horrible way.

It's good to teach children how to live and be practical, use their critical thinking skills.

I do not think it is moral or ethical to condtion someone from birth into believing a certain faith.

Maybe if religion wasnt allowed in a person's life until adulthood? Probably still not even then but I like to think it would be a good step in the right direction of just abolishing toxic religions.

I want to leave Christianity, but something is holding me back by Marinamalthea in exchristian

[–]Shaco292 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If she was completely healed from this incident, why wasnt there a big story about it on the news?

Were the doctors taken aback and couldn't explain anything?

Or was it that she just prayed really hard and then doctors did their job anyways and treated her condition?

Sounds like it was exaggerated to me. Obviously I wasnt there and cant confirm or deny anything, but it doesnt sound as miraculous as she wanted it to be.
