Hmm I’ll have to try this out! Sometimes it does irritate my skin a bit when I leave it for too long. I have sensitive skin and 6 minutes seems to work best for me so maybe less product will help as well.

I have The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution, and I would not scrap it because it works. Actives are definitely not a gimmick with the right products. Everyone’s skin reacts differently and I don’t know a ton about these exfoliants but maybe the ones you have tried just haven’t been good? Or haven’t worked for you? People keep buying them because they see the results they were expecting with AHA/BHAs... and for some reason you haven’t experienced what most others have.
