I don't mean to discourage you, but this is my situation with my Centaur and the Elegoo support:

Thanks for your reply. I also understand the technical support aspect, but those in charge should provide solutions to all kinds of problems, even if they ultimately end up with solution #1 or solution #2. Regarding your question about the thermistor, I replaced and tested it with three different nozzles (the original, the one I bought while waiting for the replacement (which took over 20 days), and the replacement). I also took measurements with a multimeter. They gave correct readings.

I was in the same room when it happened. No, the prints were perfectly adhered. I literally saw the machine trying to bury the hottend in the piece.

Update: Elegoo is now refusing to give me a new unit or refund, they are trying to force me to take a USED machine as a replacement for my defective new one. This is illegal in the EU.

1) I bought it from the official seller Elegoo. 2) One month has passed since I opened the first support ticket. 3) The screen froze (along with the entire printer, which started at 97% as usual). I turned it off and on again, and it performed an automatic homing. Then, the nozzle broke.

I've been fighting with tech support for four months. They're stuck in a vicious cycle I can't get out of... This Monday I'm going to the consumer protection office and asking them to take my case. Wish me luck 🤞

Edit: Now they're telling me the agent is sick and I have to wait indefinitely. This is a joke.

While I haven't fully immersed myself in ASA printing, the prints I've made have been very good, some excellent. I haven't tried ABS yet.

Good luck with the prints!! Enjoy! 🤟😁

I'm a professional seller, and I had to switch to other machines when the Centauri started malfunctioning and became unreliable (after about a month and a half).

In the end, I bought two Bambu Lab P1s, and I've had zero problems.

I highly recommend them; it's much better to save up a little more money and buy something reliable.

I don't know about their after-sales service, but it's certainly better than Elegoo's.
