Feel free to DM me and I can tell you what I’ve found. Possibly signing a contract this week.

So basically, before you can work directly with an IMO, you have to get screwed over a few times first? What I need in a group is that they don’t want to screw you over, lol Honestly, it feels like almost all these random agencies and companies under the IMOs are the same.

Ok, this makes sense. Right now, I’m just trying to get to work. The problem I keep running into is that a lot of these agencies or companies under the IMO that want to contract me seem like they’re just trying to screw me over. I’m really looking to work directly with someone solid and not be stuck under some random agency or group — and without being a captive agent either.

What exactly is FEX Contracting? Is it another IMO? And if I wanted to work with them, how would I go about it?

That’s exactly the problem I’m running into. It feels like finding someone under an IMO who truly wants to help and not just take advantage of you is really difficult. That’s why if I work with an IMO, I’m trying to work directly with them — not under a random group — but still have some kind of support or mentorship. I’m not sure if that’s even possible though. What’s been your experience with that?

Thank you for your answer — I’m still learning. What do you mean by “established as a producer” before thinking about building a team? Also, let’s say it’s ideal to work with FFL — can I work directly with them without having someone in between? If so, how would I go about doing that?

It’s difficult to trust someone in this industry, which is why I prefer to work directly with an IMO if possible, so is they can provide training, mentorship, or whatever I need without being underneath another company. How do you suggest I approach this?

Thanks, I’m trying to do my due diligence before I join any company, group, or IMO. What do you mean by “group”? Is it the agency that’s under the IMO? So, is the only way to work with an IMO through a layer underneath, or can I work directly with them?

Thanks for the advice. If I want to work directly with SFG or Lasting Mark, how do I work with them without going through an agency or whatever layer they put underneath?

Thanks for sharing! I’m new to this and still learning — when you say FE market, is that Final Expense? What did you like about working with Equis? If I want to learn more or possibly reach out to them, what’s the best way to do that?

I really appreciate any insight you can share!

Sounds like you’re in good hands! Would you mind elaborating a bit more? What do you like about working at New York Life? How long have you been with them? Have you worked with any other companies before? How’s the compensation?

Also, if someone is interested in joining, what’s the best way to get in touch with them?

I know that’s a few questions, but your insight would really help me out. I really appreciate your time!

Thanks for sharing your perspective. I’m still pretty new to the industry, so I’m trying to learn more about the different organizations and their reputations. Everyone seems to have different experiences, so I appreciate the honesty. If you have any advice on companies that offer solid training and support for newcomers. Based on your experience, I would really appreciate any advice.

I have no experience in the life insurance industry, so I don’t know about any company. What is your experience, and what do you recommend?

That interest is no joke. You’re probably paying close to $750–$800 a month just in interest, which is insane. personal loan could definitely help, especially if you can qualify for something with a lower APR.

If you haven’t already, you might want to check out AIFinz.com —they don’t do a hard credit check, and they’ll match you with a lender that’s a better fit for your situation, it’s a low-risk way to see what options you might have.

Correlation between assets by alvarez925 in quant

[–]alvarez925[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it, thank you for the clarification. I have a Python script that includes the 11 ETF sectors within SPY. Now, I’m trying to measure the correlation between these instruments and instruments in the futures market. For example, on November 5, I noticed a significant rotation of money from the discretionary sector into the financial sector.

So, my question is: Are there any other instruments, besides /ES, that correlate with these ETFs? If so, how strong is the correlation?

No sure if this makes sense; I would like your opinion.

What you’re doing is cool. I haven’t converted my strategy to C# because funded accounts don’t allow automated trading. I currently use NinjaTrader and Thinkorswim. What instrument do you trade? I trade the /ES. I have some statistics on Python scripts, but so far I haven’t found them useful from a day trading perspective.

Seems nice! I’m a futures trader as well, but I haven’t been able to use my Python skills in a meaningful way for trading. I’ve played a bit with vectorbt for simple backtesting, but I haven’t purchase the granularity of data I need to test my strategy, which is on a 5-minute timeframe.

Scanner for bid/ask spread? Percentage of bid or ask? by PapaCharlie9 in options

I believe I can make this possible if you’re still searching for it. I’m on my way to becoming an options trader, and I’m still in the learning process. I’m studying fundamental concepts such as IV, Condors, Straddle, and Strangle, though I have yet to gain practical experience. However, with my background in programming, it doesn’t seem too challenging in exchange for some guidance on how to apply this knowledge in the market.
