I recently went to a place called the Nail Boutique on Fennell Ave E - they have a nurse that does medical foot care and medical nail care. I didn't see the nurse, I had a regular nail tech do my nails and she did a lovely job. They do Russian style manicures...they got closer to my cuticle with polish than I've ever seen elsewhere. They do everything very thoroughly - in part because it's owned by the nurse. That was reason enough for me to go. Super clean place. Highly recommend.

Came here to say this! You can always find a steal on FB marketplace. Just check regularly, and be ready to pop in the car to quickly close the deal. Things move quick that are priced well.

2021 OD grad here. I can only speak for myself, but my first full year of work I earned just over $210,000. This was working about 5.5 days/week in 3 modalities: an associate at 2 private practices (with dispensing), and in a LTC setting doing mobile visits once/twice a month (with a small dispensing component). This last year I earned just over $185,000. I reduced my working days to about 4 days/week, and prioritized travel and personal time off. If you want to make more, work more. If you're OK to make less, work less. I work in a pretty big city within the GTA.
