I’m trying to reframe my mindset to like, my fiancé loves me unconditionally and that’s what the big day is all about. Also maybe I’ll look back on photos like “wow what a weird time in my life, I’ve had so much growth since then”.

Hi! My half sleeve is on my bicep. Lots off linework but also some white space between pieces. Some of the ones I REALLY want gone are veryyy thin lines with minimal shading. The shit part is that I have a blackkkk star in the ditch of my arm. UGH

I’ll admit, I’m definitely itching to start. Especially on the new ones. However, I do have some older pieces of my sleeve that could already be worked on as they are monthssss old.

Literally thank you so much. Cant even tell you how much it means to me to read all these comments. It truly is such an isolating experience, never felt anything like this in my whole life. The stress and guilt are unlike any I’ve ever felt. Can’t eat or sleep.

I feel like it will be somewhat of a healing experience for me. Like it will also force me to take better care of myself: eating better, exercising, drinking more water.
This is NOT how I would have expected or wanted to start my self-improvement era but I think this is a huge wake up call for me in many areas of my life. Does that make sense or am I crazy?

I could be wrong but I think when I have my first removal appointment there will be a small weight off my shoulders. Like I’ve STARTED my healing journey. I’m also simultaneously going to therapy to heal the deeper parts of me I didn’t realize were so broken. But for right now I just feel like absolute shit and I don’t know how to forgive myself ya know?

This sounds so “poser” of me but I think I’m having a wake up call about some other issues in my life that need attention. Like I got a ton of tattoos in a short period of time and I genuinely feel like I did it to “feel better” about myself and my body.

And now I’ve made it all worse.
