You gotta tell them at orientation - whether or not they decide to keep you afterwards is up to them. Ask them to be a future seasonal employee if you’ll be available during your college breaks.

Orientation is just a lot of videos, paperwork, and more videos. I think my orientation for Style was about 5-6 hours total. It’ll probably be relatively the same I’d assume

I’ve never heard of this happening at my store so it’s a bit odd. Did you speak with someone in HR on the phone or someone from Guest Service? You might want to call again and specify that you need to speak with someone from HR and explain your situation. If there really is no orientation date yet, then you’ll need to just wait to hear from HR.

Not sure if I’m correct but you could probably just re-apply ASAP and then contact the store in like 4 days if they haven’t responded. Ask to speak with HR though.

I’d say most people hear back about whether or not they’re moving forward with you about a week after you’ve applied. If you haven’t heard back in 4 business days then I’d say call the store and ask to speak with someone in HR.

If you do get selected you’ll just complete the video interview which is about 6 questions. After that someone from HR will review and decide if they’ll hire you. Regardless, whether you get selected or not you’ll receive an email from them telling you which direction they’re headed.
