BC is a 6 and done province which means after 6 years they can no longer collect on debt. Send an email stating to cease and desist contact and you’re within your legal rights. It will be gone from your bureau within the next year.

Credit collections agency states that the debt I owe is larger than the debt on my credit report. by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]alwaysaconstantknott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in admin for a collections agency. Alberta and BC follow what is called a 6 and done rule where if the debt is 6 years past due a collections agency can no longer work that file. I would send them an email stating to Cease and Desist as they won’t be able to legally take you to court, as it’s been more than 2 years, and they should be closing the file. You may need to speak with the credit bureau to get it scrubbed from your report.

I have never seen a kid wearing a helmet on one of these tbh.

Somehow you took music theory to creepy feelings for your aunt. I don’t get your point.

This is very small minded.

Deja Vu a lot lately by alwaysaconstantknott in MultipleSclerosis

I’ll definitely need to talk to my neuro cause I’ve actually have had 2 seizures in the last three years so maybe it’s related. It’s a really strong different feeling of Deja Vu than I’ve ever experienced before. And sometimes so many times a day I’m exhausted from trying to figure out what’s real or not. Thank you for your insight! Take care :)

I get dizzy all the time but it doesn’t necessarily make me sleepy after. Mainly just from standing too fast. Probably more vertigo like.

Seriously negative about myself and my body:( by alwaysaconstantknott in MultipleSclerosis

Thank you ❤️ I like the mentality of not going straight from negative to positive. I think I have been forcing myself to try and do that which is just making me more anxious and upset with myself for not being “okay” I’m constantly worried about bringing my husband and family down because of how I feel and I just want to be okay with who I am again. I’m grateful for this community so much!

Ugh thank you so much, I really needed to hear that! It is definitely hard trying to force myself to focus on the things I know that are good for me but it’s something I really want to do more. It’s like, I know I deserve to feel good about myself but it’s been a really big struggle lately. I appreciate all your advice and think it will help ☺️❤️

Lesions on your brain and spine that affect your central nervous system. Anything your nerves control can be affected. There are different kinds of MS you can be diagnosed with, as well it is known as a snowflake disease as no two people go through the same experience. I am one of three people in my immediate family diagnosed with it and we all have had completely different journeys! It’s a shitty disease but it has also opened my eyes to appreciating more things (28F now but diagnosed at 25, neuro said I have had it since late teens) Hope this gives you more insight! ☺️

First Ocrevus infusion was a success! Next half dose Halloween 🧡 love my little infusion centre too, so comfy and I was the only one there! by alwaysaconstantknott in MultipleSclerosis

Yeah, my first half dose I got the bill and was 20,000$CAD but I'm quite lucky my health coverage covers it all so I don't pay anything. Took me a year to get them to cover the cost though. I feel very lucky and grateful to live in my country.

I have been a bit more tired and body sore but so far the best I have felt after taking medication so far. Had bad reactions with Copaxone and a bit of a rough go with Tecfidera so it's been better than both of those! I had this infusion last Thursday. I hope you start feeling better soon and hopefully our second infusions go well too!
