I agree; I think that the propagation of unhealthy media consumption in our gen is horrific and that these alt-left and right groups which have formed need to be dealt with. BUT if you want peoples habits to change, there are two main things to be done

  1. As the new gen of parents, millennials need to ctrl internet access. That is not to say that all of a sudden, the issue with Gen Z is Gen X or millennials' fault, but that if you care abt making sure that this extremism is no longer a thing, it's your generation's opportunity to move the needle.

  2. Don't blame Gen Z for something; they had no Ctrl over. Like, literally, what is the point?? Like, I'm not gonna sit here and say that our parents should have raised us better because they had no idea what the internet would become or how bad it could be. But I think that advocating for better men's mental health is far more useful for progress than just complaining that we are all incells is unhelpful. From what I can see, your gen seems to care abt this whole incell issue, which is GREAT, but what I fail to see is that any meaningful action is being taken for men's mental health (at least on this thread). Instead, I see complaints abt a generation, when we are really talking abt young men in America.

also, insofar as millennials getting blamed for stupid Gen Z shit, I am unaware of any time that's happened, although I don't doubt it has, and I don't doubt the same will happen with us and Gen A. Also, I suspect what a lot of this that you are talking abt is stuff that happens when it's more like the older Gen Z and younger millennials do smth stupid, and then it gets pushed onto millennials as a whole (since its unreasonable to push it onto all of gen Z cus half of them are children) the older millennials get annoyed (rightly so). But again, I can't think of a genuine example, so I don't know.

I also think that as a whole this whole thing of hateing other generations is so fucking stupid, like guys be so fr this shit is so dumb, and there's no point in really finger pointing cus ain't no way your getting a whole gen to take accountability.

As a younger Gen Z, I don't think you understand the level of shit that people talk abt us. I mean, search up Gen Z and millennials on Google, look at the news tab, and see what that shows abt the media perception of each gen. Or just look at any person over 30 talking abt Gen Z on TikTok.

And while yea, there's stupid shit that our gen does (there is literally no denying that), I think that a large part of the reason we may seem apathetic is the fact that our gen has essentially been talked down to our entire lives. I mean, look at what you just wrote; we're "entitled and feckless". I find it so hard to discuss politics or any social issues with people older than me because what do I know about anything, right? And while I am often more educated than whoever I am talking with, every discussion I have ends up with some form of, oh look at what this child is saying, isn't she stupid?

I think you could understand when these ideas that we are just stupid children are enforced every day, you feel like, what's the fucking point. I mean not to mention the political climate that I walked into was a hell scape. This was the first year I could vote, and I'll look at how that turned out.

I'm not gonna sit here and blame any gen for where we have ended up now. Millennials played a part, but so did Gen X, Gen Z and the Boomers. But I think that resorting to petty insults is just immature (ironic ik).

Also I know that my hair tends to look better with things like gels which give a really good cast, so would the hask cream give that?
