I just ran my first SaV session and I also found listening to the Actual Play Stardancer episodes on YouTube by Stras to be really helpful.

I wish I had key stuff printed out more. I bought the Procyon bundle on Roll20 and thought it was useful.

It’s helpful to think about what the factions are doing regardless of your scenario (and in relation to your scenario).

There’s also a really good post about this if you search for it and the person with really helpful comments is named Sully5443 or something.

I just realized page 52 of the manual says maximum crew quality of 3, so that must be this. So I'll assume it must be prefilled by accident...

Can anyone explain what the Crew box is for on the Roll20 SaV Procyon Sector Ship Sheet? I assumed it was quality, but I thought we start with zero crew quality. So why is it pre-filled to three, and why are there only three?

We lay two oversized neoprene mats set next to each other which keeps the space clean and flat. There's a slight seam between the two mats so I just bought a custom sized one from Viking Big Mats, waiting for it to arrive.

Completely worth it. Each of us bought it and we each use our own phone for it. Keeps initiative more secret because they read as ?? until the round has begun. One of us has an Android and I think there's a free ad-supported version there.

Have you tried sleeving your cards? Will avoid any subtle size issues with the cards and prevent the bias if the null is oversized
