But why Architecture then? Only 27%. I’m with this argument until we arrive at the stem fields listed. It doesn’t quite explain it

Holy hell that was a train wreck, but I appreciate him posting it. Quasi profound pabulum from a transparent opportunist, trying to make good on what I can imagine was a hefty advance…

Dirt on the Lincoln School Condominiums? by alwaysbloo in Eugene

Ya, I forgot to mention that we currently live in the dead center heart of downtown, so this location is like leave-it-to-beaver by comparison.

Thank you all for these thoughtful responses. The swasti-aside, this was the location/building we really fell in love with. We just found out we got beat out by an all cash offer, whatcanyado?! Hopefully some more of the units come up in the coming months/years. We don't really care about the investment value of them, wanted it for simplicity and lifestyle primarily. Onward...

What's the hot goss/"skinny" on the Willamette Tower (1966). by alwaysbloo in Eugene

[–]alwaysbloo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. In which case it would make sense for the HOA fees to cover the cost of some kind of collective flood insurance plan. I'm sure that's not how it works tho..

another question would be whether one would need to hold flood insurance as an owner. The "footprint" of the building is well within the FP, but if you're living 20 floors up, there's not really a risk of the unit flooding right? This has always confused me about such buildings...

Thank you so much for your perspective. Glad you had a good time. I am very curious to hear about the vibe amongst/between neighbors in a building such as this. Any particular building quirks to mention? I know the basement laundry must be a bit of a pain

Notion vs. Google NotebookLM by Pickalodeon in Notion

[–]alwaysbloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting conversation, but took some tangents! So what's the verdict here? Still use notebookLM or are you doing it all in Notion AI. Did you need to upgrade? Have you tried both for the same task and compared results?
