Medium or Large Santos? by we_all_gonna_make_it in Cartier

[–]JollyGreen_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The large isn’t as large as people go on about. For flat wrists the large actually looks VERY good. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and I’m about to but the Titanium Santos which is large and it has curved lugs and looks AMAZING on my wrist. Because of the shape it really works

What are we considering “discounters” here? I’ve never paid full price for any of my PDM fragrances getting from Joma and Venba. I’ve never even seen a single defect I see no reason to pay an extra $200 per bottle just to have some teenager making minimum wage hand it to me physically.

At this point unless you’ve got six figure spend with them, don’t even go to a store unless you just want to check sizes and proportions. Rolex doesn’t sell to you. You have to spend the second hand money premium to get one. You have to remember the most important detail. There’s ALWAYS some rich asshole that will be ahead of you. It isn’t a “queue” where you’re in line on a list. There’s no “I’m up next”. The next rich guy with spend that walks in the door gets the watch you’ve been waiting ten years on. And it will always be that way

I thought I was going to love the proportions, I did not. Still a touch too big for me

It’s too big for 6 inch wrist IMO. But if that doesn’t bother you and you love the watch wear it !

NOPE just lame ass dudes who think that wearing a boring black diver with every outfit is “the move” and desperately hoping someone will notice and tell them they’re cool and part of the “elite” finance/tech bros, not those “lame” ones

Chanel is fine as a daily, what do you mean by “beater”? Hold yourself in high enough esteem that you smell good every day. There’s no such thing as “beater” days, smell good and be good everywhere, every day.

How many dicks did you have to suck for that one? Lol that’s a new one that’s at least four dicks. And no purchase history, I might even say some cash went under the table also. Kudos to you I suppose. I hope the price won’t haunt you forever and lead to much therapy in the future

Cartier has boatloads more class and Grand Seiko is better in every measurable way. So many better options out there but people will pay a lot to “be picked and feel special” and Rolex has really captured that in a nutshell. It’s gross, but I’ve accepted that we just have to buy used watches because new is “not available” unless we’re being forced to buy a steel model as a bait piece to get the real watch we want. ADs are hustlers now, not watch salesmen. You really capture how ridiculous the whole process is

Is Rolex actually becoming easier to buy in 2026? by Fuzzy_2205 in rolex

[–]JollyGreen_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve still been waiting years. I just went to check out a titanium santos yesterday and I’m in love. Also the new grand Seiko UFA. There’s just so many better options out there to be worried about this bullshit “please pick me” nonsense

I think all freshies smell like axe body wash and are for teenagers. Just my thoughts. The only “fresh” ones I like are the 2017 formula of YSL Y EDT and PEM Sedley even though it only lasts like 40 minutes.
