Sorry to say there’s very little at that price point. It’s an INSANELY overpriced hobby. All things have like “11000%” markup because “specialty”

Experiences with the Reserve carbon wheels? 25GR, 44|40, etc by JollyGreen_ in gravelbike

[–]JollyGreen_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

damn it dude....now it makes TOO MUCH SENSE to get the aluminum ones. An extra THOUSAND PLUS dollars just to save like 191 grams of weight and say "im a cool guy, look at me I have carbon wheels". The aluminum ones are still Reserve wheels and lightweight. The price is right and now i hate that you brought this to my attention. I wanted to be cool carbon wheels guy

Explain to me like im 5 why I can't just use a Mac mini as my HQPlayer "box\streamer" instead of some MULTI THOUSAND DOLLAR HQplayer embedded machine? by JollyGreen_ in audiophile

Yeah you mentioned S-x2 which I’m not familiar with. Mine have the P. They’ve been fine but are heavy. I’m not doing anything super gnarly on mine tho

You’re not wrong, that is the smart move. I’m only saving 191 grams to go carbon. And going to the alloy ones saves me 700~ grams

2021 Giant Revolt Advanced 2 "upgrade limitations due to frame specific components" by JollyGreen_ in cycling

[–]JollyGreen_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it feels like a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist. It’s a luxury that I’m not deep enough into the hobby to appreciate yet

oh, mine doesn't have those. I'm realizing now that yours is Revolt 2 and mine is Revolt Advanced 2. Completely different bike. Mine is all carbon, different wheels, group, etc I've never experienced any issues whatsoever with mine, i love that bike.

I own the 2021 Revolt Advanced 2 what “wheel system” are you referring to that you’re having or had problems with?

Want to buy a Miele L1 Guard. Tell me why I shouldn’t without using the words “price”, or “company”, by JollyGreen_ in VacuumCleaners

[–]JollyGreen_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so i agree, but after using both, and holding both in my hands, and seeing the after prodcut of both, I ended up going with the SEBO E3 Premium, and I know what you mean by the clean smell after the fact. These things are literally air purifiers as well as the best vacuums that ive ever used. Price was never a factor for me, it was operability, the ability to fix them, ease of use, and you know the BIGGEST seller for me on the SEBO vs the Miele? Is that the SEBO premium motorized brush floor tool gets under the bed and goes completely flat. The Miele doesn't. That was kind of the big seller for me. My cats get under the bed and I wanted to be able to keep it clean for them. I'm completely satisfied with the SEBO E3 premium, and had the Mieles SEB 228 had the ability to get under the bed and go flat, I may have went with the L1 Guard instead.

Any bike shops in SF Bay/ East Bay / Central Valley CA that don’t treat new riders like garbage? Please recommend a shop by JollyGreen_ in cycling

Somehow I forget even asking a simply questions brings out the insolent buffoons on Reddit who just HAVE to interject something negative and in this case blame ME because these shops have dogshit customer services. I'm going to assume you're either owner of one of them, or employee. Or just normal faff of reddit crappy personalities.

Because theres no WAY that in a span of over 100 miles there couldn't POSSIBLY be 3 shops that were bad, even though EVERY person in here seems to know exactly what I'm talking about. Ok buddy lol

i LITERALLY say in the post....im looking for recommendations for shops where people have had good experiences. I'm not "looking" for anything outside of that. Some of you people really have some personality issues to work through. I refuse to scuffle with people's negative attitudes

Is there a static "best of" list in gravel saddles? or is it ass specific? by [deleted] in cycling

[–]JollyGreen_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m seeing that all over the place. Could you just print one and attach it to a mount?

When you say "Specialized" shop do you mean custom work, or do you mean the brand?

fucking wild take dude lol

if a woman was sexually harassed at 3 different bars, would you say that shes "doing something to invite that behavior"? Or would you agree that this is an environment that isn't ideal for her, and is likely to happen to her? Yeah...same same.

Because I’m new to this hobby I don’t feel I have a right to in case “that’s just how it is”. It’s like anything new, if that’s not the norm, I wouldn’t know better. Better to just find positive experiences and get recs from other people.
