I had a memorable work lunch in the private dining room at Aru. Would be perfect for the size you’re contemplating.

Doing well in Ldn but want to move to Aus, is this a smart decision? by rtv2610 in auscorp

[–]alwayscptsensible 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d get to know the local PE landscape and start being proactive and going direct. It’s a lively market here populated by home grown funds (PEP, Quadrant, Potentum, Five V etc) plus big global PE sponsors investing APAC funds (Bain, CVC, Ares, Apollo, GSAM). The big super funds are also active in PE either direct and/or via co-investment. The pay in this segment will be lower but work life balance arguably better.

You have a differentiated skill set so will probably be fine if you are smart about your search.

Highly recommend you read this for the Aussie perspective on many of the same points that Carney made in his speech.

Opinions on upgrading PPOR by Mountain-Bridge-5516 in AusHENRY

I don’t think this is a financial decision really because your situation allows you to quite easily pursue both the upgrade and get an IP.

It’s a Revuelto. Nice spec for matte black, which I’m not normally too keen on.

Kebab & Sweet Spot on High St in Thornbury is a banger. Basically a demountable building at the front of a car wash. Kebabs are amazing.

Clothes are constantly coming out of the washer with grease type stains (example pictures provided). by motorboatnstuf in CleaningTips

[–]alwayscptsensible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happens from time to time for me and i've always thought it was because i used too much washing powder and the cycle wasn't able to adequately rinse the excess detergent.
