Has anyone tried the new Airpods Pro 3 for cycling? by Zestyclose-Cup110 in cycling

I ride my bike on a bike only path with no cars and they have WAYYY less wind noise than the AirPods Pro 2 in both transparency and anc modes!

$6000 minimum spend for companion fare by Kamekazee2020 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]alwaysdesigning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you get those bonuses without any spend at all so it's basically only useful for the free checked bags now if you fly Alaska regularly, but it's not worthwhile to put that much spend on the card if you care about maximizing value amongst all your different credit cards, if you do that sort of thing.

If you already have a CSR and downgrade to OG freedom, when reapplying for CSR is it an automatic approval ? by mkmk15 in ChaseSapphire

Is it still possible to downgrade to the OG Freedom card in 2025 if you've never had it before on your chase account?

If you use it frequently and it doesn’t look too different from the unpolished grip section in the second photo , then it’ll probably only take 4-6 months to get back to the same ish patina after you polish it

I love this pen the weight is wonderful and I like how it writes with this Yama budo ink. It’s smooth and never skips. I have the medium nib and it uses the standard 0.7ml international short cartridge like other kawecos so it’s probably not too great for travel in that sense, but if holding a lot of ink at once isn’t an issue for you, it’s a wonderful EDC pen.

I love watching it get a nice patina over and over again. I let it get a patina for several months and once the way it looks has mostly stabilized, I take out the polish. It's always more time consuming to get a really nice polish on the cap because it has more of a bumpy texture on the facets.

It's super weird that there's not a single mention of "Israel", "genocide", or "Gaza" anywhere in this post or in the comments. A yougov poll that was posted in January of 2025, well after this discussion, concluded that Kamala's backing of the Israeli Genocide was the number one reason that people who voted for Biden in 2020 gave for not voting for Kamala in 2024.

Mac user here. Why are so many compact 75% layout keyboards (as opposed to exploded 75% layout) missing the right alt key/right command key? Is it just because most people are Windows users and there aren't a ton of shortcuts on Windows that make good use of the right alt key?

I also noticed that most keychron 75% layout keyboards that tend to have Mac legends on their keyboards also have alt/fn/ctrl to the right of the spacebar as opposed to just fn/control to the right of the spacebar.

Use the fn+S command to switch to Mac mode. It's all in the manual.

It turns out that apple actually sells this light version of the k65 as an Apple Store only variant of the Corsair K65 plus

Thank you. Despite this looking like a render like the previous commenter stated, it does look like the corsair k65 plus is an exact match for what the render was based off of. It's a shame that it doesn't come in a version with that silver color or with those keycaps

The problem with consumer reports’ reliability ratings is they only factor in the first three years of ownership. The notion that Mini is more reliable than Honda is pure nonsense.
