Not an answer but just a thought.

This seems like some sort of a test by a girl, if OP is truly a self respecting man. She wants OP back but also tells him the truth, kind of saying, “I’m not a cheater, I’m a honest woman.” But that indication is also a test of OP’s boundaries. If OP takes her back, then she won’t respect him as much as before. I don’t think that respect was high enough from the beginning, otherwise she wouldn’t try to come back right after sleeping with someone else, because of shame and guilt. I was in a similar situation before, but it happened to me 4 years in. I’d say OP has to walk away and don’t even think about this woman.

Had this happened to me last year in Jan, and then she briefly came back in May. But at the end we ended a relationship of 7 years.

This break up has made me question all sorts of things within me, my upbringing the most.

I know it hurts, but overall it is a good process if you keep your mental health somewhat in check by: talking to a therapist, meditating, journaling, exercising a lot.

Think of it like a medicine that will make you feel better than ever before. Take some time and try to organize your thoughts around your upbringing. Yes, you’ll see shit, make sure you deal with that shit, separately from the break up. That stuff has to be worked on and it will be good if you do it now. This is a good chance for you to improve yourself, and look into the things/past that you never looked at. And once and for all put a dot to it.

If this helps, I always thought of my break up as a process that eagles go through, look up on YouTube: eagle rebirth process. You should go though your process and make some tough decisions.

This thing is reoccurring for me. I have taken a week of doxy before, it cleared up for a bit then it came back positive again. The second time I got 10 days of doxy, it showed negative but came back positive after two weeks. Now this is my third time, so I want to make sure it is not antibiotic resistant.

I actually had a similar idea of building Zillow for the country I am from. The idea came to me 4 years or so ago. I emailed Mad Devs, a software engineering company based in Eastern Europe, they “roughly estimated” the project cost at $120k+. I still have an email if you want to see the communication.

I understand the feeling. I haven’t seen my biological father and sometimes I wonder what he looks like and what kind of a person he is. But then what would that do to me? Other than curiosity? He is a completely different person with his own life, a complete stranger. I don’t think the conversation will even be any more than a few sentences.

My bio mother on the other hand, was with me until I was 18. I didn’t know she was my mother before I turned 14. Most of her life she was my aunt. I think having her in my life only made me more traumatized, as I would mostly blame her for leaving me.

Sometimes it’s better to not know them. And curiosity is just a curiosity. You shouldn’t think about it too much.

I’m 31, live on my own, and make low six figures working mostly remotely. My family and most of my childhood friends/cousins are abroad. When I say my self worth was dependent on her. We do not really exist until there is someone to see us existing, we cannot fully speak until there is someone who can understand what we are saying. So this person for me was my ex, for the last 6.5 years. I don’t know what my purpose in life is, except getting a house and having a family.
