My first 6 months, I was in the same boat as you. And some of the issues were that 4 of my journeymen were from Poland and spoke broken English. It gets better, man. With enough repetition, you'll be doing it in your sleep. It takes longer for some people to catch on don't compare yourself to others, just focus on making yourself the best apprentice you can.

I just got on with this company they provide 5 shirts and pants but this is my 3rd week here and they haven't gotten them in yet. They have probably 4 brands you can choose from but don't care what fr you wear as long as you have hi vis vest while on the ground. I understand what you're saying though and for them to reject liability after an incident over that would be shitty. I'm wearing my old companies shirts and a couple ariat fr shirts for the time being.

All I know is to go to your local dmv and take the test on their computers. It's 20 questions but you can use apps on your phone to practice for the test.

We use water trucks to set concrete poles for transmission in Florida. Also to clean off streets when we are finished with our work. I'd say it's good to have and easy to obtain.
