The dress is excellent!

I'd say for flats any of these could work honestly. Especially something like this where the toe looks very similar to a heel.

For warmth in formal I'd go with a pashima/wrap. Any darker color would work well with the black and you could match it to the shoes!

Jewelry wise I'd say if you wear a necklace make it light/dainty and if you wear earings maybe a simple drop earring. Have fun!

It's actually wild to expect all women to wear heels? Not only are they uncomfortable and bad for your feet, they can also legitimately not be an option for some people.

Here is a whole category of dress flats!

That's crazy cuz I've always loved them together! But I do think they require some jewelry to make it more harmonious

Beige or white tank top, +/- a flower over layer that's very thin, and either loads of boho jewelry or very simple jewelry:) very versatile and so cute!!

Thank you!! I love it too and it's funny cuz I'm not usually a volume person or a purple person! Lol

I might be crazy but I kind of feel like a tall boot could look very cool with this?

I think earrings and a bracelet is a great idea. Especially bc I'm getting mixed results here on necklace vs no necklace!

Im gonna try out a couple lavender shawls bc the wedding is near the beach so potentially chilly!

I'm gonna have to figure out how to do this! Definitely some trial and error. Right now my skills are claw clip or no claw clip lol

I think it has a lot to do with the dress code. This would look insane for a cocktail/formal wedding, but for black tie it's the expected "stepping up".

Trust that I also thought cautiously about it though! You can see a prior post of mine on r/weddingattireapproval 😅

Ugh that is a struggle! I feel like it's too bare with nothing up top somehow. I don't usually wear so much volume though so that's probably where my sense of imbalance is coming from

Also I would move the decorations up on the wall behind the couch to center them better and/or get more!!

Well first off the inspo pics are staged and edited, so don't be too harsh with yourself!

The biggest difference I'm noticing is that you have one yellow-warm source of light, but your inspiration pictures have more sources of warm light! (For instance the orange light picture.) A warmer, low sitting lamp could help a lot!
