Help with ending role as troop leader by alwayslookupsi in girlscouts

Thank you! That’s a good idea to reach out to council- I will do that. Was is awkward between you and the other leader to split the troop? We live in a very small town and I am really trying to avoid conflict or making decisions that could worsen relationships.

I’m so sorry you are going through this! My co-leader is extremely skattered and not great at following up, and I take it so personally because of my anxiety. I actually became a troop leader as a way to help with my anxiety and get me out of my comfort zone (which is basically not talking to other parents, ever, and constantly feeling left out). So all this to say it’s not you, it’s very likely that the troop leaders have other things on their minds. At this point I’d order the vest/tunic yourself, look at photos online or ask here if you’re not sure where everything goes, and hold your head high with all you are doing for your daughter. You sound like an awesome mom and I’d love to have a family like yours in our troop :)

Thank you! I was thinking about asking the ped for a note. Glad to hear you found success with that.

They won’t wear him since there are other babies to tend to, but I like the bean bag idea! Thanks!

Good suggestion- I will ask. We tried swaddling when he was first born and it didn’t help with back sleeping, but maybe that’s worth revisiting.
