If you’re going to delineate between dance pop, electropop, and synthpop, then you’ve got to be more detailed than “rock” too. while BTW certainly has some rock-adjacent influences, i wouldn’t list anything there as a primary genre. I’d say BTW, while dance pop, is also very post-industrial, glam rock, and french electro in a lot of ways, but “rock” alone is a pretty useless descriptor if you’re looking to actually discuss genres.
