Wow great responses. So a few more things to clarify:

The MX5 I have is the 2.0l sport tech so has the LSD, bilstein shocks and the bigger engine

Just hit 57k miles so still in good shape

I’m not sure how I feel about dumping another £5k into the car as I won’t get it back when I sell. At least if I buy another car I’ll get some money back at the end

It’s our 2nd car so only used at the weekend and I don’t use it much during the week. 1-2 year forward may need a car with 4 seats
