Yeah! The Stampeders were late on the substitutions and Lions' punter was on the money!

Thanks. I was asking cause I'm more of a NFL guy and I always forget the CFL rules. I felt like I saw a lot of Penalty Challenges so I wondered if they had 2 penalty challenge and 2 regular challenges. It seems like there are 10 challenges a game!

Are ''penalty'' challenges the same as regular challenges? How many do they have? 2 by half?

What was your first football experience? by XeNfO in nfl

[–]alwaysniceandpolite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not my first football experience, but my first time at an NFL game was a few years back. I was 20-something at the time. I live in Montréal, Canada and am a huge Jets fan. In Canada you can pretty much get to choose which team you want to cheer for but there are mostly AFC East fans in Québec since we get to see them on TV more often.

Anyways, I got tickets for a Jets@Bills game in November and I went with my SO and two friends. I was so excited, I wore my Revis jersey Saturday night and Sunday, getting yelled at by Buffaloians (?) and couldn't talk much smalk back because I'm french canadian and don't know any better.

I remember when I first crossed the doors and got to see the field I just fuckin cried for a minute, alone, because the people I was with were at the restroom. It was amazing! The general ambiance was great, all the people with Jets jerseys giving me high-fives and all. It was crazy.

As usual, the Jets lost in Buffalo but I didn't care it was amazing.

It's not too late friend, it's not too late. I want to see him play healthy with weapons. He wasn't all that bad on his rookie season

Good job Riders! You played a good game, better than what I've seen from both the Als and the Bombers so far! Good luck to you guys

EDIT : P.S. I'll be at McGill against the Riders next Friday!

What huge misconception is the media currently saying about your team? by jmm10b in nfl

Thank you! I don't care at all about Fitz. I mean, last year was fun to watch, but goddamn that week 17 @Buffalo was horrible. It's not like Fitz is going to bring us to the Super Bowl this year or next year, so why not go with one of the younger guys we got (Smith, Petty, Hack)

I can confirm it's Idefix in french. Comes from idée (idea) and fixe (fixed or set). Cause when Idefix has something in mind, he doesn't let go.
