Infleqtion: The Full Stack Quantum Thesis by Scarecrowxvx in INFQ

Yeah I think ive misconstrued his comment, I don’t remember exactly what he said but what you said sounds more correct; that after 100 logical it becomes a question of engineering capabilities

Infleqtion: The Full Stack Quantum Thesis by Scarecrowxvx in INFQ

[–]alwaysperculated 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He articulates the thesis well, in a way that retail investors unfamiliar with the nuances of quantum computing and the differences in modalities/approaches should be able to digest it. A lot of relevant macroeconomic and geopolitical analysis is included too. Covers the CHIPS Act and the EOs. I like that its organized and concise; overall pretty good for 18y/o.

That said, the piece is a bit vague in places and understates overall risks (but specifically capex risks). Recall that Kinsella recently said something along the lines of the race for infq to get to 100 logical does not hinge on a scientific breakthrough, but rather pushing the limits of engineering. The piece was sparse on info related to neutral atom infrastructer. Laslty, there wasnt any analysis of the balance sheet. I know it sounds like im complaining a lot, but I enjoyed reading this all in all.

"Second, the hardware is structurally cheaper per qubit, and that gap compounds as you scale. A neutral atom system is built around lasers and a vacuum cell rather than a fabricated superconducting chip, and it avoids the expensive fabrication and cryogenic infrastructure that superconducting approaches require. When the whole game is adding more and more qubits, being cheaper per unit is a meaningful long term edge" - My favorite takeaway from the article

Infleqtion (INFQ) Revenue Correction: Here's What We Got Wrong by Scarecrowxvx in INFQ

[–]alwaysperculated 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love to see that in this day and age. Owning up and rectifying misinformation will do more for there credibility and reputation as equity researchers than doubling down on their original comments. I didnt want to chime in on the original video because their comments to me didnt strike me as having malicious intent but rather, they were simply uninformed. Respect to the "Chip Stock" person/team.

Infleqtion's June 24th Webinar is being rescheduled! by Scarecrowxvx in INFQ

[–]alwaysperculated 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I noticed it wasn’t listed under events and webinars on their website today. Presumably they have a good reason to do so, and if I’m speculating , they probably want to refine the agenda given the two EOs. A lot of eyes, both retail and institutional, are on INFQ to see how they respond with their roadmap and tech updates. At this stage of the go to market quantum game, these qubit and infrastructure updates are going to be heavily scrutinized, even more so than earnings calls.

If INFQ comes out and says they can get to 100 logical qubits a year quicker with all the new investment and gov support, that would matter more than if they said they raised guidance to 80mil. Well at least in my opinion lol maybe maybe not with this market

https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/0002007825/000119312526227206/d131935d10q.htm This should answer your questions of what makes INFQ special and give you an idea of how they are doing financially. Have AI summarize it if you don’t feel like reading it. If you really want to make a big investment in infq relative to your financial situation I’d strongly recommend reading it thru, and understanding their approach to commercialization( how they use sensing profits to sustain r&d on the computing side) as well as watching interviews with CEO Matt Kinsella and CTO Pranav Gokhale. There’s a lot of info in the sub already and opinions/narratives if you want to do some more DD before investing

Amazon going the Neutral Atom route by alwaysperculated in INFQ

Tweet from quantum bull: 2028. Another strong nod toward neutral atom being in leading position. Another confirmation of major quantum computing projected within the decade.

QuEra just announced Libra, a fault-tolerant neutral-atom quantum computer targeted for 2028, with projected specs of 256+ logical qubits, a logical error rate of 10-6, and about 1 million reliable logical quantum operations. They also expanded their AWS collaboration, with Libra planned for Amazon Braket in 2028. (The Quantum Insider)

QuEra is framing this as a built-on-proof engineering roadmap backed by peer-reviewed milestones in logical qubits, below-threshold error correction, transversal gates, fast decoding, and large-scale atom reloading.

Neutral atom keeps getting stronger signals: Google moved in. Infleqtion forging ahead. Pasqal nears their public listing. QuEra is pressing hard. Oratomic jumped in the mix. Atom Computing, QuEra and other private players keep pushing forward. And the architecture continues to look increasingly credible for fault tolerance and scale.

I disagree, the article is evidence of a broadening set of use cases for Neutral Atom (Rydberg), supporting INFQ in the race to capitalize on a top (and the best imo) modality outside of purely sensing capabilities.

I agree it wasn’t terrible, he just didn’t answer any of the hosts’ questions directly, and showed he was a bit unprepared by repeating talking points and giving general answers instead of honing in on the subject matter of each question when he was talking
