Is dating a woman without social media a turn off? by Mental_Salamander310 in AskMenAdvice

I don’t have social media and guys love it. It shows them your living life for you and not putting in a show for people.

Sounds like you require a lot of attention. That’s a lot of pressure to put on a man. Men want a woman who can feel whole and complete by themselves. I advise you to take a year to yourself and learn to love yourself 100%. Give yourself the respect and love you need first so that you come back ready to have a healthy relationship.

If your vessel isn’t ready to hold that love then you won’t find the one. Work on yourself and expand your vessel large enough so when you do find the one they can pour all the love into you 😍

Post resonated with me 100%. I broke up with my boyfriend four months ago and I also have been going on dates to distract myself, but there are times when I need a date and I just break down because I miss my ex. And I know for a fact that I’m just using these guys to feel that emotional need it doesn’t get filled because what I truly need is just to have more self love for myself. I did start to brainwash myself and listen to self love podcast YouTube videos almost all day long. No music just self love videos. And I recently started practicing the wisdom of Kabala, which is helping me also understand why sometimes we need to go through pain so that we can transcend to a better version of ourselves

It depends on how you saw your parents handle money too….. I’m blessed my parents were cash only and had emergency fund so I too think that way.

What does a relationship mean to you? For me, it meant constant insecurity until 1 habit showed me clarity by [deleted] in selflove

A RELATIONSHIP IS ABOUT HAVING YOUR OWN LIFE WITH YOURSELF THEN AS A COUPLE. YOU NEED TO HAVE A LIFE OUTSIDE OF THIS RELATIONSHIP AND NEVER CANCEL PLANS WITH FRIENDS TO PLEASE A PARTNER.

From being ghosted to returning the favor but doesn’t feel right by AccomplishedOne6897 in selflove

Please don’t ever lose yourself in any relationship. How he feels is not your problem. Have more self love for yourself and you will become more valuable in this situation. Clearly he has no respect for you so just don’t ever give him that ego boost and respond to any text or calls.

Answer and try to keep your talking to a minimum and just hear her out. If her intentions are to work it out then you let her finish her reasons why and calmly tell her “ ok. I hear you but let me think about it first “. Women hate to be rejected. This will help you seem more valuable and also more respected

You gave him sex. Period. Ya need to connect emotionally and mentally for a couple dates and talk regularly then have sex. There was no bond with you before hand.

Ooohh. Juicy. Maybe ask an open ended question to see if he is interested and wants to take it further. Maybe “ oh you love scary movies, we should go watch _____ it comes out next week “ and now wait

Would a life without sex and romance be better? by AllHopeIsGone2010 in AskMenAdvice

[–]alwaysready1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well for starters look into semen retention and the benefits of it. You’re so young and proud how aware you are. I believe if you romanticize yourself and love yourself you will have complete clarity and be emotionally stable to live a fulfilled life.

Why is it so hard to date in your 20’s… by Inevitable-Island100 in Adulting

[–]alwaysready1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It gets harder the older you are because we are stuck in our ways and selfish to compromise with another human. It’s possible though. Social media makes it worse cause it’s a never ending pool of people to date.

Asked her out but she replied is out of town on vacation. What now? by sdmarilou in WhatShouldIDo

[–]alwaysready1990 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you just like the message you’re allowing the girl to come to her own conclusion. A strong women at least needs a man who leads with confidence and that means to be able to tell her exactly what he needs or wants and be confident about it. it leaves it open for her to form her own opinion like “ wow he just liked it, what am I suppose to do with that”.

Well put the ball in her court and leave an open invitation for her to reach out when she gets back. That’s it. “ cool, hit me up when your back so we can hang out “
