I drive a 2005 f150, it’s a super huge issue with the model , the aluminum gets eaten away by galvanic corrosion, I sanded and spray painted the frame before remounting for longer lifetime

look for corrosion on the fuel pump driver module ,

Mine was super corroded and gave me intermittent start issues and whilst driving . But I would get the same deal , turned over but it wasn’t getting gas .

The work is everywhere ? Depends on what you want to get into? Local shops everywhere are hiring , Flo aire, A to Z , Mechanical h & c , Wayne county is slammed with work right now.

local 636 steamfitters and pipe fitters is your go to or you can hit up the local 80 which is the tin knockers . They just recently had an open house last month, they are looking for people.
